Renshaw
I would love to talk to anyone on this forum about the history of Renshaw. Memories? my grandparents lived in that area when I was growing up. Loved to go to Ralph Cox's store. My great-grandfather Roy Hall was postmaster of Renshaw and ran a store there until 1944.
Renshaw took off after the Illinois Central Railroad went through there in 1902. Members of the Pope County Historical Society can access Roy Hall's Store account books from Renshaw on the website.
